A Study of An Object

This project is a visual exploration of a single object, lipstick. I first generated a list of 100 words and then over 40 images (drawings, photographs, collages, and found images) with physical and/or conceptual associations with lipstick. I then curated images by developing a narrative that studies the object from four different angles: "an object in a tube", "an object for your lips", "an object in space", and "an object in words". The final work is printed as a 10 x 11" booklet.
