Three Debates

A book design project completed in Advanced Typography at California College of the Arts in Spring 2016, this work considers and employs Daniel Chandler's theory of intertextuality as well as Levi Strauss' notion of the bricoleur. The book includes three famous debates in graphic design history, presented in three parts. Each part is designed as a formal reflection and commentary on the designer(s) speaking, referencing and re-contextualizing previously created forms.
